Animal therapy

Since ancient times, human beings have established close ties with the animal world. As Edwards Osborn Wilson states in the Biophilia Theory, it is claimed that human beings tend to create links with animals.

Thus, assisted therapy with animals was born with the aim of increasing our sense of well-being.

At CENTER PSICOLOGÍA CLÍNICA a space has been created in order to serve as a complement to individual therapies.

Those patients who can benefit from animal-assisted therapy are:

  • Elderly people

  • Teenagers and children

  • Intellectual disability

  • Neuropsychological disorders
